Man wanted for allegedly setting off fireworks during concert at Scotia Bank Arena

Toronto police are asking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for allegedly setting off fireworks at a Dua Lipa concert at the Scotia Bank Arena on July 27.

It is alleged that the man set off a number of uncontrolled fireworks within the crowd where a number of people were injured.

On July 30, officers executed a search warrant on a home in the Jane Street and Weston Road area.

Police say 29-year-old Nam Ton of Toronto is wanted for endangering life.

He is described as 5’6″, with an average build, collar length dark hair. He may be driving a white Honda CRV with licence CTYV 147.
