Man suffers serious injuries following collision on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police say a man suffered serious injuries following a collision on Hamilton Mountain.

On July 23, at around 1:30 a.m. a man riding an electric kick scooter was struck by a Honda Civic travelling northbound on Upper Kenilworth Ave. near Landron Ave.

Police say the 20-year-old driver of the Honda stopped the car and called 911. The driver of the scooter sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital by paramedics.

The driver of the scooter was described as white, 5’7″ – 5’8″, 160-170 lbs, clothing unknown, white bandana on head. The scooter is described as a black Gyrocopters brand with red detailing.

Police have since identified the man.
