Man suffers life threatening injuries in Wainfleet crash

A 33-year-old man has been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle collision in Wainfleet.

Emergency crews responding to a crash on Regional Rd. 27, just east of Philips Rd., around 10 p.m. on April 26.

Police say the victim was driving a Nissan Altima eastbound on the roadway when he lost control of the car and collided with a tree.

The driver was transported to a local hospital before being airlifted to an out of town hospital for treatment.

A 26-year-old woman who was also inside the car suffered minor injuries.
