Man stabbed outside emergency room in Norfolk County

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed outside of a hospital emergency room in Norfolk county.

Ontario provincial police say a heated argument led to a fight outside of Norfolk general hospital in Simcoe just after six last night.

They say one person was stabbed during the fight. Two people then fled the scene and were last seen heading eastbound on west street.

The victim returned to the emergency room where they were treated for serious injuries but are expected to survive.

Police and the K-9 unit are still investigating as no arrests have been made.
