Man stabbed in Hamilton’s east end

Police have made an arrest after a man was stabbed early this morning in east Hamilton.

Officers and paramedics were called to a home on Kensington near Cannon, around 4 o’clock this morning. They found a man stabbed in the lower back.

He’s been taken to Hamilton General Hospital, and is expected to recover. Investigators believe a man trying to break into cars on the street was confronted, resulting in the stabbing.
