Man sought in Brantford bank robbery investigation

Investigators are hoping the public can help identify a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Brantford.

Officers were called to a bank on King George Rd. at St. Paul Ave. shortly before 1 p.m. on Nov. 20.

Police say a man approached a bank teller, claimed he had a weapon and demanded money.

The teller handed over the cash and the thief fled the area on foot.

No weapon was seen during the incident and no one was physically harmed, police said.

The suspect is described as caucasian, in his late 20s, roughly five-foot-five, with a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, jeans, and a dark coloured face mask.
