Man sought after three vehicles stolen in Oakville, Burlington

Halton police are searching for a car thief after three vehicles were stolen in Burlington and Oakville in less than two weeks.
The most recent incident happened Thursday at a car dealership on Fairview St. in Burlington.
Police say a man inquired about a black 2017 Range Rover and said he wanted to check out the vehicle’s features.
The man asked for the keys to hear the engine, got inside and drove off at a high rate of speed.
Investigators believe the same man is responsible for two similar incidents in Halton Region on March 29 and 30.
Police say a black 2015 Mercedes S550 was stolen from a dealership in Oakville and a black 2018 Mercedes E400 was taken from a private seller in Burlington.
During all three incidents, the man was left alone with the keys briefly before driving off with the vehicles.
Police describe the suspect as white, about six-feet tall, roughly 170 lbs, with a slim build and short brown hair. He was wearing a black jacket, white shirt, and black sunglasses. He may be in his thirties.
