Man shot in Milton

Halton Police are investigating after a man was shot early this morning in Milton.

Paramedics found a man in his 20s on Wettlaufer Terrace with at least two gun shot wounds to his shoulder. It appears he was shot on the sidewalk near the driveway of a house. He was taken to Hamilton General Hospital in serious condition.

Police have not released his identity, nor a possible motive. They have told CHCH News they believe it was a targeted shooting.

Investigators locked down the street as they interview residents and search for the shooter.
