Man injured after he shot himself in the leg with crossbow

A man was taken to hospital after he shot himself in the leg with a crossbow.

It happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday night. in Hamilton.

Emergency workers were called to an apartment building on Main St. East near Graham Ave. South.

The man was transported to Hamilton General hospital via ambulance and is expected to be okay.
