Man seriously hurt in crash in Dunnville

Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate a serious single-vehicle crash in Dunnville.

It happened just before 6:30 this morning after a vehicle veered into a ditch and hit a utility pole.

31-year old Shane Moore of Fort Erie suffered serious injuries and was trapped inside the wreck and had to be freed by firefighters. He was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital.

Highway 3 was closed for several hours to allow for cleanup but has since reopened.
