Police investigate armed robbery at Hamilton pharmacy

Police are investigating after a pharmacy in Hamilton was robbed at knifepoint.
Officers were called to the Shoppers Drug Mart at 753 Main St. East around 8:30 p.m. Thursday for reports of a robbery.
Police say a man entered the store and went directly to the pharmacy. He pulled out a knife and demanded drugs from the pharmacist.
The man fled on foot with an unknown amount of narcotics. No one was injured during the incident.
Police describe the suspect as a white man, 25 to 30 years old, and roughly six-feet tall. He was carrying a black backpack.
