Man killed at Hamilton mountain recycling plant

A man is dead after an incident at a recycling plant on the Hamilton mountain.

Around 3:30 P.M. police and paramedics were called to Countrywide Recycling on Nebo road. A 24-year-old man was struck inside the facility by a piece of equipment, possibly a loader. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The ministry of labour has been called in to help police with the investigation.
