Man killed after dump truck and scooter collide in Hamilton

A 65-year-old man has died following a collision between a dump truck and a mobility scooter in Hamilton.

It happened Thursday morning near the intersection of Barton and Wellington streets.

Police say the victim was on a motorized scooter when he was struck by a dump truck.

The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating.
