Man involved in Grimsby crash gets trapped in car with injuries

A man is in hospital after a crash on the QEW last night that left him trapped in his vehicle.

A CHCH News freelancer said it happened just before 9 p.m. between the on and off ramps at Bartlett Ave. in Grimsby.

He said the driver was trapped in his car with neck injuries. Emergency crews used a hydraulic spreader tool to get him out within 10 minutes.

Paramedics then brought the man to hospital.

Injuries and current condition are unknown at this time.
