Man injured in Oakville motorcycle crash dies of injuries

A 21-year-old man involved in a motorcycle crash in Oakville last week has died of his injuries.

Halton Regional Police won’t confirm the man’s identity but friends say Kadeem Phillip died in hospital on Sunday.

Police say he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree near Meadowland Dr. and River Oaks Blvd. around 11 p.m. last Tuesday.

The Oakville man was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Officers were on scene for about five hours for the investigation and collision reconstruction.

Police say they are still investigating the cause of the crash and are asking witnesses to come forward.
