Man in hospital after Sunday night shooting in Oakville

An Oakville man is in hospital after a shooting Sunday night.

Police were called to the area of Sixth Line and Elm Rd. in Oakville around 10 p.m.

A 53-year-old man was shot in the leg. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they don’t believe this is a random act.

No suspect has been identified.
