Man in hospital after QEW crash

A 35 year old man is in hospital after a crash early Saturday morning.

It happened on the westbound QEW in Mississauga around 4:30 in the morning.

A black Hyundai was travelling westbound on the highway when it hit a steel barrier.

It was later hit by a tractor trailer.

The car’s driver is in critical condition.

Two separate crashes happened afterwards, but no injuries have been reported.

The Niagara-bound lanes on the QEW were closed earlier Saturday, between Erin Mills Parkway and Winston Churchill Boulevard for the police investigation.
