Man in hospital after early morning Brantford shooting

A man is in hospital following an early morning shooting at a home in Brantford.

Police received a report of a shooting around 9 a.m. in the area of Nelson and Brock streets.

Paramedics transported the man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers say they do not believe the shooting was a random incident.

The force is currently at the scene to investigate.
