Man in his 50s pulled from Hamilton Harbour, pronounced dead

Police say a man in his fifties has been pronounced dead after being pulled from Hamilton Harbour Monday morning.

Hamilton Police, and Hamilton Fire were called to the waters around 11:30 a.m. for a water rescue.

Police say a man was taken to hospital without vital signs where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are asking drivers to avoid Eastport Dr. and Pier 27 as traffic delays are expected while rescue vehicles remain in the area.
