Man in hospital after overnight shooting in Hamilton

A 56-year-old man was taken to hospital with a leg injury after an overnight shooting in central Hamilton.

It happened at a home near Gibson Ave. and Cannon St. East around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators say they believe three men went into the home where the shooting took place, they say this was a targeted incident.

Investigators are currently looking for three men they believe were involved in the shooting. The first suspect is described as white, with a shaved head and was wearing a white shirt and dark jogging pants. The second suspect is described as black, tall and was wearing a shirt with red writing on it. The third man was also black, medium height, wearing dark clothing.
