Man gives lottery jackpot to charity

A man who won $40 million dollars in a Lotto Max draw says he’s giving it all away!  He says he plans to donate his winnings to charity and cancer research is high on the list. His name is Tom Crist.  And he retired as the head of an electrical wholesale company and says he doesn’t need the money.  He had the winning ticket in a draw in May but only just came forward.    Even his own children didn’t know he’d won.  Crist is putting the money into a trust fund to be distributed by his family to various charities.  His children support his decision.  He’s doing this in memory of his wife who died of cancer.
