Update: Hamilton police continue to investigate after a man was dropped off at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.Police now believe the injury may have been self-inflicted.

Police responded to St. Joseph’s hospital around 3 a.m. Friday. A 34-year-old man was being treated by staff for a injury that police say is non life-threatening.

Investigators say the man is not cooperating with police.
