Man dead in Brantford fire

The fire started at around 5 a.m. at a Washington St. residence, and took firefighters about 3 hours to put out.

A man, in his late 20’s, was found inside the triplex and later died from his injuries.

The damage from the fire is estimated to be around $200,000.

The Ontario Fire Marshal is now investigating the cause of the fire.
