Man charged with voyeurism, child pornography after mother and son filmed on hidden camera

A Brantford man is facing numerous charges after a woman discovered videos of her son on her common-law partner’s cell phone.

Police launched an investigation after the woman found footage of her 14-year-old son on her partner’s phone.

Investigators learned the child and the woman had both been filmed without their knowledge while in the washroom and changing their clothing.

Police allege the man also had previous encounters “of a sexual nature” with the youth.

A 43-year-old man is facing four counts of voyeurism and one count each of invitation to sexual touching, printing/publishing child pornography and possessing child pornography.

The man’s identity will not be released to protect the victims.
