Man charged with six counts of sexual assault after lengthy investigation: Hamilton police

A man with links to Hamilton and Niagara has been arrested and charged with six counts of sexual assault, Hamilton police say.
Hamilton police say their investigation was prompted by information received from the community and involves people linked to local Hamilton restaurants and bars.
RCMP officers in Burnaby, B.C. arrested Jesse Chiavaroli, 41, on June 2. He was brought to Hamilton for a bail hearing.
Police say Chiavaroli worked in the restaurant and bar industry in downtown St. Catharines and Niagara Falls from 2009 to 2015. He was in Hamilton between 2015 and 2018.
Police believe there may be more victims and are encouraging any survivors to come forward.
