Man charged with second-degree murder in Delhi homicide: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police have made an arrest in a murder in Delhi last month.

Norfolk County OPP and paramedics were called to a reported death at a King St. W address on the afternoon of Mar. 30.

The victim was identified as Michael Shawn Murray, 54, of Norfolk County. His death was determined to be a homicide.

On Wednesday, officers arrested 27-year-old Robert Lee Ballard, who is also from Norfolk County.

Ballard has been charged with second-degree murder. He is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
