Man charged with stunt driving on the Red Hill Valley Parkway

A man has been charged with stunt driving after he was caught going 142km/h on the Red Hill Valley Parkway. The posted speed limit is 90km/h.

The 20 year old man from Hamilton was caught by police around 4:30 yesterday morning near King Street East. He was charged with stunt driving and will appear in court at a later date to answer to this charge.

His licence was seized and his vehicle towed from the scene and impounded for seven days.
