Man charged in string of robberies

Niagara Regional Police have arrested a St Catharines man for a string of robberies that began July 2nd at the Avondale on Riall Street in Niagara Falls.

He’s been connected to other robberies earlier this month in Niagara Falls, Grimsby, St Catharines, Burlington and Hamilton, including a robbery at the Sobeys on Queenston Road on August 8th.

Andrew Edwards, 30, is facing several charges including three-counts of robbery. Lisa MacRae, 33, is facing two counts of robbery.
