Man charged in Hamilton pot dispensary raid

Hamilton Police have arrested one man in another pot dispensary raid.

The Vice and Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a dispensary on King St. E around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Officers found marijuana, hash and other THC products valued at approximately $50,000.

The store’s manager, a 45-year-old man, was arrested and faces several drug charges. He was released on a promise to appear.

Hamilton Police say until the federal government’s proposed changes to marijuana become law, they will continue to enforce the current legislation.
