Man brings axe to police station

A 53-year old Georgetown man has been admitted to the hospital, under the mental health act, after an incident at the community’s police station yesterday.

Halton Police say the man drove his vehicle into the parking lot, got out and put an axe on his roof. He then grabbed the axe and raised it above his head, before officers tasered him.
