Man beaten and robbed while jogging in Brantford

Police are investigating after a man was assaulted and robbed while jogging in Brantford on Monday.

The man was out for a run on a trail in Franklin Grobb Memorial Forest around 7 p.m. when he was approached by two men. The pair beat the man and stole his cell phone.

The victim required medical treatment for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects are both described as white and six-foot-three. One of the men was between 20 and 25 years old, had light brown short hair and was wearing a purple dry fit t-shirt and khaki shorts. The other suspect had short blonde hair and was wearing navy blue shorts and a white t-shirt.
