Man beaten in Hamilton

A man is in hospital after being severely beaten on James St. North in Hamilton on Sunday.

Witnesses say the man was leaving a bar around 2:30 p.m. with two other men when an argument erupted. One of the men allegedly punched the victim and stomped on his head.

Police are now searching for the suspect who is described as white, around 6’2 and about 220 to 240 pounds. He is said to be balding, with a tattoo of a cross or crown on his neck.
He left the scene in a black Honda.
