Man attacked outside Jackson Square Sunday afternoon

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a scary incident outside Jackson Square Sunday.

Officers were called just after 1 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

On scene, they determined a man was assaulted and suffered a fracture to his arm but wasn’t stabbed.

A 26-year-old Hamilton man who is known to police was arrested at the scene.

Officers are going through surveillance video to determine what led up to the incident.
