Man arrested in gun incident at Fort Erie motel: Niagara police

A Fort Erie man has been charged following a gun incident at a motel.

On Tuesday, Niagara police officers were called to the area of Garrison Rd. and Central Ave. in Fort Erie for a report of a man armed with a gun.

The man was inside a unit of the motel.

Uniform officers, emergency task force members, K9 units and negotiators attended the scene.

The man was arrested and a search warrant was executed. Police say an imitation firearm was found and seized.

Jeremy Bremner, 44, of Fort Erie is charged with assault with a weapon and use of an imitation firearm in commission of offence.
