Man arrested, gun seized after home invasion on Hamilton’s Market St.

Police have arrested a man and seized a semi-automatic firearm following a home invasion at a downtown Hamilton apartment building Wednesday afternoon.

Details regarding the incident are limited, but the force said in a tweet shortly before 4 p.m. that residents near 160 Market St. can expect a significant police presence.

Investigators say information from witnesses at the scene helped police to locate the gun.
