Man arrested after shooting near Cathedral High School injures 2

Hamilton police have arrested a 21-year-old man following a shooting near Cathedral High School that injured two adults Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded shortly before 1 p.m. to the area of Sanford Ave. North and King St. East for reports of a shooting.
Hamilton Emergency Paramedic Services Supt. Dave Thompson says a woman and a man were taken to a local trauma centre in serious but stable condition.
Wisler Sebastian Rosima, 21, has been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, six counts of disobey court order, discharge firearm with intent and more.

A 21 y/o man has been arrested after a shooting yesterday.The man will appear in court this morning & is facing over 10 firearm related charges.

Investigators believe there is no connection between the high school and the targeted shooting. The school was placed under a hold and secure as a precaution.
Rosima appeared in court Wednesday morning and remains in police custody.
