Man arrested after gun flashed during argument at Port Colborne restaurant

A Fort Erie man has been charged after a gun was seen inside a Port Colborne restaurant early Sunday morning.

Police learned a man had attended the bar and pulled out a firearm following a “minor argument.”

They say a fight ensued and the man fled the area.

Officers located a pellet handgun and two magazines on scene.

Following an investigation into the incident, police arrested and charged a 23-year-old man with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carry concealed weapon.
