Man, 94, charged with attempted murder after machete attack

Hamilton police have charged a 94-year-old man with attempted murder after he attacked two people with a machete.

It happened at a home on Progreston Rd. just east of Highway 6 in Carlisle last night.

Michael Yole is facing two counts of assault with a weapon in addition to an attempted murder charge.

Police say the victims will be okay.
