Man, 38, charged after Hamilton police seize loaded firearm

A 38-year-old man is facing multiple firearm-related charges after Hamilton police seized a loaded gun Monday afternoon.
Officers were patrolling the area of King Street East and East Avenue North around 3:30 p.m. in response to ongoing community complaints.
Police saw a man in an alleyway who was under conditions to stay out of the area.
The man attempted to run away but was quickly arrested.
Officers then seized a loaded Glock 19 firearm, a box of 9mm ammunition, two pieces of crack cocaine and cash.
Tim Junior Miller has been charged with six separate offences, including unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
