Man, 36, found dead on trail in Simcoe: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after a man was found dead on a trail in Simcoe.

Officers responded to a medical complaint at a Hendry St. address around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police located the body of a 36-year-old man on the Norfolk Sunrise Trail.

The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and an update will be provided once new information becomes available.

A post-mortem examination will take place to determine the cause of death.
