Man, 33, charged with street racing in Guelph

A 33-year-old man has been charged with street racing after a driver was caught going more than 50 kilometres an hour over the speed limit in Guelph.
Ontario Provincial Police say an officer saw a man driving a red sedan going well above the posted 80 km speed limit on The Hanlon Expressway.
Police say the vehicle was clocked on radar in excess of 130 km/h.
The man was charged and his driver’s license was suspended. His car has also been seized for seven days.
He is scheduled to appear in a Guelph courtroom on May 16.
