Man, 33, charged in series of Milton house break-ins

Police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old man in connection with a series of break-ins throughout Milton this spring.

Halton police say they have received six reports of break and enters into Milton homes since April 25.

Investigators say a man would enter the homes through unlocked doors or windows and steal items from multiple rooms as the occupants slept.

Officers arrested Keegan Banfo of Milton on Friday in Toronto. He has been charged with four separate offences, including six counts of break, enter and commit.

Banfo was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
