Man, 22, rushed to hospital following Brantford stabbing

A 22-year-old man has been rushed to hospital following a stabbing in Brantford.

Police were called to Alexandra Park on Dalhousie St. around 6 p.m. Wednesday for reports of a man who had been stabbed.

Officers located the victim and he was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Police say a man who is described as having a thin build and was wearing a white t-shirt, and cream coloured pants fled the area before officers arrived on scene.

Investigators are asking any potential witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the stabbing to contact police at 519-756-7050.
