MacLeod grills Milloy on grit staffer

Progressive Conservative energy critic Lisa MacLeod questioned government services minister John Milloy on the IT boyfriend accused of deleting government files. MacLeod revealed that Peter Faist and the company he worked for was employed by the Liberal caucus office.
“Were members of the transition team and Kathleen Wynne’s hard drive wiped clean, yes or no, by a contracted employee of the Liberal Party of Ontario when Kathleen Wynne assumed the leadership of your party?”
Milloy responded: “An internal investigation was conducted and it was determined that the company has previously done occasional IT services for the caucus office and the former premier of the party’s office, the company was informed yesterday that its services at the party office were terminated and the proper authorities have pro-actively been made aware.”
It was up to Milloy to defend Wynne during question period against what he calls “baseless allegations”. The government services minister encouraged MacLeod to read the court documents as he says many of the Conservative accusations are not supported by information in the OPP document filed with the court.
