Mac doctor resigns on allegations

A former McMaster University psychiatrist facing allegations that he had sex with a patient in Ontario has quit his new job.

Dr. Claudio Soares was hired to head up the University of Alberta psychiatry department, but was placed on leave before he could start.

It’s alleged he had a sexual relationship with a patient while working as a professor at McMaster.
