The City of Hamilton is taking its fight against a group home for vulnerable teens to the Ontario Municipal Board.

The eight day hearing between The Lynwood Charlton Centre and the city starts Monday. The center is appealing the city’s decision to block the request to move their home from Charlton Avenue to Augusta Street. The city is arguing that moving the facility would be illegal, because group homes must be at least 300 meters apart. This fight has been going on for over a year.
