Lounge owner arrested after stabbing incident injures 3 in Niagara Falls

The owner of a lounge in Niagara Falls has been charged with assault following a stabbing that sent three people to hospital.
Officers say the incident happened at the Euphoria Social Lounge at 6092 Main St. shortly after 6 a.m. on July 23.
Niagara police arrived to find a man in his 30s and a man in his 40s with serious stab wounds in the back parking lot. Paramedics transported them to an out-of-region hospital.
Another man in his 20s was also taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The lounge owner, 27-year-old Sameer Channan, was arrested and charged Monday with two counts of aggravated assault.
Police say the victims continue to recover from their injuries.
Channan was held in custody for a virtual bail hearing at a St. Catharines courthouse Monday.
