Twenty-nine year old Loujack Cafe was found guilty today in a St. Catharines court.

The Hamilton man was on trial for a number of random and unprovoked stabbings in 2011.

Cafe was was found guilty of four counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated assault involving five different victims.

The first incident was in March 2011 followed by four more between November and December that same year.
The jury began deliberating yesterday and reached their verdict in 11 hours.

One of the incidents that was presented to the jury was caught on surveillance cameras on December 12 2011. The video was posted on Loujack Cafe’s Facebook page and encouraged followers to watch it so the number of views would reach 30 000, for bragging rights.

The jury also saw posts on Cafe’s website where he called himself a demi-god and a demon. He showed off his tattoos about violence in the kindom of heaven.

Loujack Cafe is currently serving a life sentence, after he was found guilty last year of killing his neighbour, George Bernett.

He was also facing a first degree murder charge in the stabbing death of Laura Young but that charge was withdrawn as a result of insufficient evidence.

Sentencing for this trial will begin December 16th in Hamilton.
