Loud exchange in commons over Afghan mission

Canada’s ongoing effort in Afghanistan was the focus of a heated exchange during question period in Ottawa today.

It started after the opposition leader asked if Canadian troops in Afghanistan will be sent home by 2014 as planned. And when Tom Mulcair suggested that the Pentagon has asked Ottawa to consider leaving Canadian Special forces in Afghanistan beyond that date – things really got loud. Kate Carnegie has more:
