Looking for a place to cool off during this province-wide heat warning?

The Parkdale outdoor pool is reopening today after closing nearly two years ago.

The City of Hamilton shut down the pool in November 2020 for renovations.

It invested $3.2 million on a new heated pool with a beach-style entryway and accessibility features.

There is also a larger change room that includes accessible showers, gender-specific and universal washrooms, and an open-style change room with an additional four private change stalls.

The official grand reopening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony is happening from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday.
